  • Our Beliefs | TWCC Live

What We Believe Rooted in Truth . Living in Hope . Our faith shapes everything we do—from how we worship and serve to how we love our neighbors and build authentic community. At The Welcome Center Church, we believe God's Word is the foundation of our lives and that every person is invited to experience the hope found in Jesus Christ. The Bible The Bible is God’s Word to all people. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because it was inspired by God, the Bible is truth without any mixture of error and is completely relevant to our daily lives. The Church The Church is a local community of baptized believers unified through faith in Christ. It is committed to the teachings of Christ and obeying all of His commands, and it seeks to bring the Gospel to the world. The Church works together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ. The Trinity God has existed in relationship with Himself for all eternity. He exists as one substance in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Although each member of the Trinity serves different functions, they each possess equal power and authority. Salvation The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sin. Salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. Salvation is a gift from God, and it cannot be earned through our own efforts. The Father God is great: He is all powerful, all knowing, ever present, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, Holy. It is in Him that we live, move and exist. God is good. He is our Father. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises. The Son Jesus Christ is completely human but, at the same time, completely God. He is the only plan for bringing people who are far from God back into a right relationship with God. He lived a perfect life, so that He could be a substitution for us in satisfying God’s demands for perfection. He defeated death in His resurrection so that we can have life. The Holy Spirit The Holy Spirit’s presence assures us of our relationship with Christ. He guides believers into all truth and exalts Christ. He convicts people of their sin, God’s righteousness, and the coming judgment. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and makes us more like Christ. Faith in Action Our beliefs aren't simply words on a page—they shape how we worship, serve, grow, and care for one another every day. Plan Your Visit Faith Was Never Meant to Be Lived Alone. At The Welcome Center Church, our beliefs come alive through worship, community, discipleship, and service. We'd love to help you discover where you belong and how you can grow alongside us. Explore Our Ministries Grow Together Growing spiritually through biblical teaching, discipleship, and meaningful community. Love God Living a life of worship, prayer, and obedience to Christ. Serve Others Meeting needs in our church and community through outreach and faithful service. Love People Building authentic relationships marked by compassion, grace, and encouragement.

  • Our Story | TWCC Live

EST. 2012 Our Story A story of faith, obedience, and God’s faithfulness—and it continues to unfold. The Welcome Center Church was established in response to a divine call placed on Pastor Tim Fountain’s life—a call to create a sanctuary where the broken find healing and the weary find rest. Officially launched in 2012, our vision was simple yet profound: to build a house of worship where absolutely everyone is welcome, no matter their background or journey. Through unwavering faith and God’s miraculous provision, we have journeyed from meeting in temporary spaces to establishing the permanent home we cherish today. This growth has allowed us to expand our ministries and deepen our community outreach throughout Macon, witnessing countless lives transformed by the power of the Gospel. Today, TWCC remains a vibrant lighthouse of faith. We are committed to helping every person encounter God personally, build meaningful, life-giving relationships, and experience the transformative hope that can only be found in Jesus Christ. "Where Hope Thrives" Called to Serve Deeply rooted in faith and obedience to God, our church began with a mission to serve the community and foster a spirit of unity through the love of Christ. Growing in Faith We celebrated God’s provision as we transitioned into our permanent home, allowing us to expand our ministry to reach hearts throughout Macon. Building the Kingdom Our journey continues with an unwavering commitment to worship, heartfelt outreach, and the discipleship of every believer. Your Story Could Begin Here . The story of The Welcome Center Church is still being written, and we’d love for you to be part of it.
